Tell What Jesus Has Done
Jesus welcomed people whom others tried to push aside. He blessed the children, healed blind Bartimaeus, and brought salvation to Zacchaeus and his household. Each encounter became a testimony of grace.
Your testimony is one of the most powerful tools God has given you. You may not know how to answer every question, but you know what Jesus has done for you. You can speak about the forgiveness, hope, peace and new life you have found in Him. A genuine testimony does not draw attention to us. It gives glory to Jesus.
Psalm 78 says, “We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done” (Psalm 78:4). God never intended His mighty works to be remembered by only one generation. Those who have experienced His faithfulness have a responsibility to tell those who come after them.
We are passing down more than possessions, traditions or family names. Our words, actions, priorities and example will influence future generations. The goal is clear: “That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments” (Psalm 78:7). When we testify to our children and young people, we give them something solid to remember when their faith is tested.
Paul saw this kind of spiritual inheritance in Timothy. He remembered the sincere faith that first lived in Timothy’s grandmother Lois and his mother Eunice, and he was persuaded that it lived in Timothy also (2 Timothy 1:5). Their faith was not transferred automatically. It was deposited through faithful teaching, prayer, conduct and daily example. Testimony is more than recounting a miracle. It is living in such a way that the next generation can see what trusting Jesus looks like.
You do not need to be a pastor, theologian or public speaker to testify. In John 9 religious leaders questioned the man Jesus had healed. He did not answer every argument. He simply said, “One thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see” (John 9:25). No one could deny what Jesus had done in his life.
Someone near you may believe that change is impossible. Your story can show them that mercy is still reaching, Jesus is still saving, and no life is beyond His reach. Begin at home. Tell your children and family about prayers God has answered, doors He has opened, times He has provided, and the mercy that has carried you. Then share the same hope with friends, neighbours and workmates.
Do not wait for a platform. Share naturally, personally and with love. Let your words and your life agree. The Lord gave you a testimony because someone else needs to hear it, and one day that person may declare His wonderful works to another generation.

PRAYER
Lord Jesus, thank You for saving me and changing my life. Give me courage and wisdom to tell others what You have done. Lead me to someone who needs the hope found in my testimony. In Jesus’ name, amen.
